Trim Levels of the 2018 Renegade

 

The Jeep Renegade manages a perfect balance between giving you an iconic Jeep look, with its own special twist. The Renegade is truly the most versatile SUV in its segment, and gives you not just a powerful engine, but four trim levels that make finding the perfect Renegade that much easier. You don't have to settle for a Renegade that might not match your style or needs, and instead, you can be greeted with an SUV that was made for you. The first model in the Renegade lineup is called the Sport. This engine comes standard with a USB port, 16-inch steel wheels, a 6-speaker sound system, manually adjustable mirrors, a five-inch touchscreen, remote locking and unlocking, Bluetooth, push-button ignition, a driver information display, power windows and locks, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, a rearview camera, a removable cargo floor panel, a height-adjustable driver seat, cloth upholstery, a fold-flat front passenger seat, and a 60/40-split folding rear seat. You'll also be able to add more features through three packages. The first package is Sport Appearance, giving you privacy glass, alloy wheels, and roof rails. Another package is Uconnect 7.0 Group, which includes, Android Auto, dual-zone automatic climate control, Apple CarPlay, satellite radio, and a 7-inch touchscreen. The last package is Power & Air Group, which includes heated and power-adjustable outside mirrors, air conditioning, and cruise control. The standard engine is a 1.6-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder, which produces 184 lb-ft of torque and 160 hp. This engine works with a 6-speed manual transmission.

 

This second model in the lineup, Latitude, comes with more standard features. This trim even adds all of the features from the previously mentioned packages. Other additional features with this trim include an additional USB port, fog lights, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, automatic headlights, ambient LED lighting, and body-colored door handles and mirrors. For more features, check out the Altitude package. Altitude offers vinyl door trim, black exterior styling elements, upgraded cloth upholstery, and 18-inch wheels. An optional engine is a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder, which creates 180 hp and 175 lb-ft of torque. This engine works with a 9-speed automatic transmission.

 

If you want a Renegade model that was especially made for off-roading, then you need the Trailhawk. This trim, while coming standard with the 2.4-liter engine, also comes standard with upgraded cloth upholstery, 17-inch wheels with all-terrain tires, all-season floor mats, four-wheel drive with low-range settings, unique exterior and interior accents, hill descent control, a full-size spare, a raised suspension, underbody skid plates, and tow hooks.

 

The most luxurious model in the Renegade lineup is the Limited. The Limited, while coming standard with the 2.4-liter engine, adds even more standard features. You'll get a 40/20/40-split folding rear seat, keyless ignition and entry, heated front seats, automatic wipers, a leather-wrapped shift knob, dual exhaust tips, a 115-volt household-style power outlet, an 8-way power-adjustable driver seat, a heated steering wheel, a windshield wiper de-icer, an upgraded driver information display, silver roof rails, and leather upholstery.
