What powers the 2022 Jeep Gladiator?
Standard under the hood of the 2022 Jeep Gladiator is the awarded Pentastar 3.6L V6 engine that offers 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. Drivers can also choose an EcoDiesel 3.0L V6 engine that delivers 260 horsepower and an impressive 442 lb-ft of torque. A 6-speed manual transmission is standard for the entire lineup, while an 8-speed automatic transmission is available. All Gladiator trim levels come with Jeep’s highly capable Command-Trac 4x4 system. However, the rugged Rubicon comes with Rock-Trac 4x4 for superior performance during extreme off-roading conditions.
What features come standard with the 2022 Gladiator?
The Gladiator's inspiration from the Wrangler can instantly be seen beginning with the vertical seven-slot grille and round headlights. With a removable soft or hardtop, removable doors, and a fold-down windshield, you can get a full outdoor experience. Other standard exterior features include a three-position easy-open tailgate, underbody skid plate protection, drain plugs for easy cleaning after a day on the trails, and trapezoidal fender flares over 17-inch steel wheels. Inside, you’ll find push-button start, cloth upholstery, a 7-inch infotainment touchscreen, a 7-inch infotainment touchscreen, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, a tilt, and telescoping steering wheel, and an eight-speaker sound system. The standard Command-Trac 4x4 is a part-time system. This means that it allows drivers to shift into and out of four-wheel drive at speeds up to 55 MPH on the fly.
