2022 Jeep Compass Lineup

The 2022 Jeep Compass debuts a new premium design and an all-new modern interior with advanced safety and security features, including semi-autonomous driving and a host of next-generation technologies that make it the most connected, technologically advanced Compass to date. The lineup of 2022 Compass consists of five different trim configurations: Sport, Latitude, new Latitude LUX, Limited, and the rugged Trail Rated Trailhawk. Let’s take a closer look at each trim level and what they have to offer.

2022 Compass Sport

The Compass Sport boasts a new design and comes loaded with standard features. The Sport model offers a new, state-of-the-art spacious interior with double the storage capacity and next-generation technologies: jeep redesigned instrument panel and new slim HVAC vents. Every Compass Sport will now offer the new five times faster Uconnect 5 system with a standard 8.4-inch high-definition touchscreen. The system offers a customizable, one-touch home screen, five user profiles, and standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. In addition, the Sport provides ample standard safety and security features, including Full-speed Forward Collision Warning with active brake and pedestrian/cyclist detection, Active Lane Management with LaneSense Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keep Assist, and many more safety systems. The standard engine on the Sport is the fuel-efficient 2.4-liter Tigershark four-cylinder engine with 177 horsepower, 172 lb.-ft. of torque which is paired to either a nine-speed automatic transmission or six-speed automatic transmission. The Sport offers a highway driving range of more than 400 miles and a maximum towing capacity of up to 2,000 pounds.

2022 Compass Latitude

The Jeep Compass Latitude model builds on the many standard features of the Sport model. However, the Latitude offers cloth/vinyl seats. A premium wrapped steering wheel, illuminated visors, leather shifter knob, and overhead ambient interior lighting. Jeep also gave the 2022 Compass Latitude next-generation safety features that include Adaptive Cruise Control, Parallel and Perpendicular Park Assist, and a 360-degree surround-view camera. In addition, Jeep gave the Latitude a 7-inch full-color TFT digital cluster display, power eight-way driver seat with power two-way lumbar adjuster, heated front seats, and a new wireless charging pad. Plus, for added luxury, buyers can opt for the outstanding nine-speaker Alpine sound system, a remote start system, dual-pane panoramic sunroof, and a new hands-free, foot-activated power liftgate.

2022 Compass Latitude LUX

The all-new Compass Latitude LUX model is new for 2022, delivering a new level of comfort, luxury, and safety, combined with legendary Jeep capability. The Latitude LUX comes standard with Jeep’s full-time Active Drive 4x4 system, the Jeep Selec-Terrain system, and 18-inch aluminum painted Satin Carbon wheels with all-season tires. The cabin offers leather heated seats and a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel to keep you warm on those cold winter mornings. In addition, the Latitude LUX introduces the new 10.1-inch digital Uconnect 5 touchscreen radio. The infotainment system is enveloped in a bonded glass lens for a seamless, high-tech appearance.

2022 Compass Trailhawk

Trail Rated Compass Trailhawk was built for both on- and off-road adventures. The Trailhawk offers Jeep’s Active Drive Low 4x4 system, which takes the Active Drive system up a notch with a 20:1 crawl ratio and low range for 4x4 Trail Rated capability. Compass Trailhawk edition also comes with Selec-Terrain Rock mode, a 1-inch factory lift to deliver 8.6 inches of ground clearance, water fording up to 19 inches, high-strength steel skid plates, signature red front and rear tow hooks, 17-inch aluminum wheels, and rugged, all-season performance tires. Plus, the Trailhawk will now come with even greater off-road capability thanks to Jeep’s Hill-descent Control system. This system allows drivers to control vehicle speed down steep, rugged grades without the need for throttle or brake pedals. For the first time on Compass, heated second-row seats are available on Trailhawk. The Trailhawk introduces a new frameless 10.25-inch full-color TFT cluster, one of the largest clusters in this segment. The customizable cluster has nearly two dozen different menus to choose from

The Compass Limited was designed for those seeking premium materials and advanced features such as a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel with Satin Chrome Silver accents, power eight-way driver seat with power two-way lumbar adjuster, luxury leather heated front seats, 7-inch full-color driver, and a 10.1-inch digital Uconnect 5 touchscreen radio to name a few. In addition, the Limited comes rolling in on 18-inch aluminum diamond-cut wheels with Gloss Black pockets, Bright Chrome, and Silver-painted accents.
