2021 Ram 1500 Power & Handling

The Ram 1500 lineup is powered by one of four engines in the 2021 model year. The standard engine is a 3.6-liter V6 that produces up to 305 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque. This engine is outfitted with a mild-hybrid eTorque system to reduce fuel waste. The second engine offered is a 5.7-liter V8 that delivers 395 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque, offered with and without the eTorque system. Drivers can also choose the available 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 that creates 260 horsepower and 480 pound-feet of torque. The fourth and final engine powers the TRX variant of the 1500. This 6.2-liter supercharged V8 pumps out 702 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. All engines are paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. RWD is the default configuration but 4WD is offered.

2021 Ford F-150 Power & Handling

The Ford F-150 lineup is powered by one of six engines. The base engine is a 3.3-liter V6 that delivers 290 horsepower and 265 pound-feet of torque. Drivers can also opt for the available 325 horsepower turbocharged 2.7-liter V6, a 400 horsepower 5.0-liter V8, and a 400 horsepower turbocharged 3.5-liter V6. There is also a 3.0-liter turbocharged diesel V6 engine that delivers 250 horsepower and 440 pound-feet of torque. The final engine is a hybrid, pairing a 3.5-liter turbocharged V6 with a battery pack and electric motor to create 430 horsepower and 570 pound-feet of torque. Each engine is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. RWD is standard but 4WD is available.

2021 Ram 1500 Features & Design

The Ram 1500 lineup is made up of seven trim levels, which includes the all-new TRX. The base model comes equipped with a tilting and telescoping steering wheel, 18-inch steel wheels, trailer sway damping, a 5-inch touchscreen, air conditioning, and a 6-speaker sound system. The upper trims come with even more convenient, comfort, and safety features including aluminum wheels, two additional touchscreen sizes, fog lights, smartphone integration, LED exterior lights, more aggressive styling, leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, power mirrors, side steps, a four-corner air suspension, and a wireless charging pad. The TRX model comes outfitted with a suspension lift, a Dana 60 solid rear axle, 35-inch all-terrain tires, five skid plates, Launch Control, and Bilstein adaptive dampers with remote reservoirs.

2021 Ford F-150 Features & Design

There are just six Ford F-150 trim levels to choose from in the 2021 model year. The base XL trim comes with features like vinyl flooring, trailer sway control, manual windows and mirrors, single-zone air conditioning, smartphone integration, and an 8-inch touchscreen. The upper trims add cruise control, a power locking tailgate, leather upholstery, automatic dual-zone climate control, a 12-inch touchscreen, remote engine start, heated seats, a two-panel moonroof, and a 360-degree camera system.
