There are four Renegade trim levels to choose from in the 2020 model year. The Renegade’s powertrain lineup consists of two stellar engine options! The base engine, a 2.4-liter inline-4, is found under the hood of the Sport and Latitude models. This engine creates 180 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque. The second engine, a 1.3-liter turbocharged inline-4, powers the Limited and Trailhawk trim levels. However, it is offered as an option for the Sport and Latitude models. This turbocharged engine pumps out 177 horsepower and 210 pound-feet of torque. Both engines come with standard two-wheel-drive but four-wheel-drive is available. The Renegade can also tow, maxing out at 2,000 pounds with 4WD.
