That’s why it should be no surprise that a 3.6-liter V6 engine comes standard, with the ability to produce 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. The standard transmission is a 6-speed manual, although you can actually choose an eight-speed automatic transmission if that works better for you. Later on in the Gladiator’s life, it will be available with a 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6. This EcoDiesel cranks out 442 pound-feet of torque and 260 horsepower. You can’t go wrong with the 2020 Gladiator, especially with the 7,650 pounds of towing capacity.
