New Performance Exhaust System
The SUV gets Mopar's new performance exhaust system. It is a high-performance unit factory-tuned for overall performance. Corrosion resistance is improved through the exhaust system's chromium 304 stainless steel construction. The SRT performance exhaust system will be available for purchase in 2018's second quarter.
Performance Lowering Spring Kit
Although the Durango SRT already comes with outstanding high-speed cornering stability, the performance lowering spring kit enhances that. The new springs lower the Durango SRT 0.6 inches closer to the pavement. This in turn improves the vehicle's stance and handling. The kit includes a performance exhaust that Mopar worked closely with Dodge//SRT on. These companies used data to tune the lowering springs to factory-fitted dampers. Performance was improved by this through reduced body roll when cornering, less nose dive when braking and less rear-end squat during acceleration.
