The Pacifica Hybrid gives an estimated range of 33 miles only relying on the electric power from a 16-kWh lithium-ion battery, which gives off zero-emissions. When the battery needs some help, it receives it from an adapted version of a 3.6-liter V6 engine. The battery itself is hidden away under the second-row floor in its own unique battery case. It can be recharged quickly with a 240-volt plug-in system. The regenerative braking system gives the minivan efficiency by converting kinetic energy into electricity to give it additional range. It goes into effect when the minivan decelerates and the high-voltage motor becomes a generator to charge the battery. It can get up to 84 miles-per-gallon-equivalent when using both gas and electricity. The total range is up to 566 miles.

Design of Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid

The Pacifica Hybrid comes in two trim levels: Premium and Platinum. This minivan fits up to seven passengers. The Premium trim offers automatic headlights, LED daytime running lights, foglights, heated power-folding side mirrors, keyless entry/ignition, a 6.6-kWh onboard charger, and power-sliding doors and liftgate. On the inside, the Premium features heated front seats, leather seating, tri-zone automatic climate control, second-row power windows, Bluetooth, an 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment display, a six-speaker audio system, and 60/40-split folding third-row seat. The Platinum trim offers hands-free operation liftgate and sliding doors, upgraded leather, ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a power passenger seat, a navigation system, and the Uconnect Theater rear-seat entertainment system. The top trim also comes with advanced safety systems like automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and the surround-view camera. There are some optional features for both trims. The Premium can be ordered with a wireless device charging pad and the Platinum can be ordered with a panoramic sunroof.
